Celebrating New Funding for Herts Musical Memories

We’re absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news with our community. Herts Musical Memories has recently been awarded two significant grants that will help us continue and expand our work bringing the joy of music to people living with dementia and memory challenges.

We are incredibly grateful to the Herts Community Fund for supporting our Borehamwood group. This funding will enable us to strengthen our local sessions, ensuring that participants can continue to enjoy uplifting musical experiences in a welcoming and supportive environment. Our Borehamwood group has become a vital space for connection, laughter, and shared memories, and this grant helps secure its future.

In addition, we are delighted to have received funding from Awards for All towards our core costs. This support is essential in helping us sustain the day-to-day running of Herts Musical Memories.

These grants are more than just financial support; they are a recognition of the importance of our work and the positive impact music can have on wellbeing. Every session we run is designed to spark memories, reduce isolation, and create moments of joy for both participants and their carers.

We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you to both funders for believing in our mission. With their support, we can continue to grow, innovate, and bring the power of music to even more people across Hertfordshire.

Together, we’re making memories through music. 🎶
